Kruger Game Drives

A safari into Kruger National Park is one of the main reasons guests choose Kholiwe. Guided game drives allow you to experience the park with experienced local guidance, giving you a better chance of understanding the animals, landscapes and small details that make each drive memorable.

Morning and afternoon drives are available, with longer half-day and full-day options for guests who want more time in the park. Photographic safaris and night drives can also be arranged.

Guided Tours & Excursions

Kholiwe is well placed for guests who want to experience more than one side of the region. From cultural visits to scenic day trips and wildlife-focused excursions, guided tours can be arranged for guests wanting to explore further.

These experiences are ideal for longer stays, return guests, or travellers who want to combine Kruger with culture, conservation and local landscapes.

Your time at the lodge is designed to feel easy. Guests have access to complimentary WiFi, pool towels on request, a swimming pool, and relaxed meal times during their stay.

The lodge is also solar-powered, helping to support a more reliable and considered stay in the bushveld.

Everything about Kholiwe was worth experiencing. The kindness of the staff, the fresh rooms with balconies to observe the wildlife that roam into the area, the thoughtfully prepared meals. Qhawe was an absolutely spectacular guide. On our first trip into the park, he managed to find not one, but two leopards, and we spent the days ahead seeing lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, crocs, hippos, multiple birds. He knew so much about all of them. It was the highlight of the trip! Highly recommend traveling here and especially with him.
